Highlight

Characterising the non-axisymmetric transitions in the wake of a sphere. Thompson, Leweke & Provansal, in 2001, used numerical simulation and Landau modeling to show that the wake behind a sphere transitions to non-axisymmetric flow through a pair of supercritical bifurcations.
